Nov. 28--Capax-Giddings, Corby, Hynes insurance agency of Modesto recently appointed Barbara Galgiani as president of Capax-Marine Providers Inc.
It is a subsidiary of Capax specializing in marine insurance. A regional agency, it traces its roots back more than 100 years and provides insurance services to clients with a wide range of coverage needs.
Galgiani has served as business adviser and resident vice president since joining the firm in 1996. She has numerous industry credentials and brings 18 years of marine insurance experience to her new job.
